Lucky
02:50
|
|||
Takin a stroll down the alley
Waggin the tail at the sight of a bone
He waits no more for a walk in the park
bark at the moon on a Saturday night
His name is lucky
He s got a heart of rock n roll
His name is lucky
He s got no home to call his own
His name is lucky
A bearded lady by his side
Pickin a fight with a stray cat
Dancing and gambling and passing the time
Betting his leash on a roll of a dice
Knowing he ‘ll lose it all over again

Crazy Fool
02:45
|
|||
I Know tomorrow is gonna be
Like any other day sunrise will see
I know I ain’t like no one else
If you can see me say my name
I know you re lonely, you gonna see
Just how much it hurts to be me
You know I m a kind of a crazy fool
And I don’t need you to teach me no rule
Yeah I’m a crazy fool
But I don’t wanna follow none of your rule
Yeah I m still alive
But I ain’t gonna give you one filthy dime
The street is glowin, with neon lights
Another world is born in the night
Dancing and drinkin and smoking too
And thinkin of a way to get into you
I guess I m goin, to leave you soon
I don’t wanna be nobody’s fool
But girl you gonna be sorry one day
Long time after I ‘ve been away

Growing Older
03:13
|
|||
When I was just a little boy, I was always on the road
when she was just a little girl she got lonely
I said I m goin out to find the dream in all of us
She looked at me and she said watch it you may go down
I m still a boy growin older now and that’s not easy to be
You know that I’m still looking for, what I’m dreaming of, dreamin of
Well I was just a little man, who s always on the road
well she was just a little woman she still gets lonely
I said I m goin out to find the dream that we once had
She looked at me and she said watch it you once went down

The Eye
03:41
|
|||
never thought i d end up here
i imagined being elsewhere, being someone else
you see, time is the most strange corruption
more dangerous than i ever thought
gives the sense that from the bottom
you ll reach the top
people moving fast thinking they know where to go
where they should be what they should know
(but for me)
the only reason that i speak is cause you question me
the only reason that i walk, sir is cause you asked me to
the only reason i belive in death is everybody says it s the end
but who is to end...
i always thought i was the hero in a life that was mine
i always thought i had to be the one that i am not
that my needs where there for me to fulfill
noone ever told me that this was
the fastest way to die
how can i see whose is the eye
whose is the eye that sees

Through the Sky
02:42
|
|||
I wanna know where you re goin
What you think, the weather’s like
I wanna know what you re doin
How the story ends
I wanna see through the sky
Left alone in a dream
Now I know , I won’t feel you tonight
Now I m gonna change (and) you re so many miles away
I wanna know what you re doin
How the story ends
I wanna see through the sky

Summer Days are Gone
02:48
|
|||
I was lazing one morning
Wondering how life should be
(Then I looked to the future)
I knew I ‘d never be free
I was right , I was wrong
Summer days are gone
What you see is what you get
What you do you must never regret
I f you do things your own way
Someone s gonna put you down
I was right , I was wrong
Summer days are gone
I went to see the doctor
He said I can’t see no problem
Still my mind is in trouble
I know I can never be free
Am I right, am I wrong
Summer days are gone

Johnny's Game
02:52
|
|||
Johnny he was growin older He always had to fight
he earned a good name By the sweat of his brow
Working hard 8 to seven Sundays he was goin out
He d go Shooting drugs and kill for politicians
But as the days caught up him so did his will to fight
And one day as-he-was-walking through the fire
he put his guns aside
Drowned his ego beneath the waters and stared into the sun
What he was looking for? (he was) Looking for a sign
He went Knocking on heavens door but the heavens didnt answer
to his prayers And sent him on his way
He was a sinner was he not who thought he should be asking
for forgiveness But proved he was wrong
He walked the stairs to the gates of hell and they opened to a lake
The boatman asked him for the toll He had no money in his hand
Now he thought money was not important But again what he thought was wrong
For only rich men could set foot in the underworld
Now the only way he could set this straight was the only way he knew
he picked up his guns again And turned them to his face
Johnny was his name, killing was his game
He said: johnny is my name , knowin is my game

Boogie Women
02:29
|
|||
All I need is boogie, boogie all the time
Till the night is over, I m gonna get what’s mine
And all the boogie women, they need a boogie man
Need to have some good time, don’t you understand
They wanna get some, Boogie man, boogie man, boogie man…
When I do the Boogie, oh I get so high
Listen to the rhythm, Boogie tells no lies
And all the boogie women, Dancing to the beat
They wanna do the boogie, Till the morning light
They wanna get some, Boogie man, boogie man, boogie man…
All I got is boogie, Jumpin through my mind
Givin me the power, To speak the words I like
Now the boogie women, They re getting in the mood
Drinkin gin and whiskey they can get so cruel
They wanna get some, Boogie man, boogie man, boogie man…
All I need is boogie, boogie all the time
Till the night is over, I m gonna get what’s mine
Hear the boogie women, Shoutin in the night
Oh they re lookin good now, They wanna have some fun
They wanna get some, Boogie man, boogie man, boogie man…
Yeah im not talking about the boogey man y know,
Im talkin bout the boogie man

Sleeping Under a Tree
02:10
|
|||
I’m walking by the trees
Seeking for the harmonies
nature can provide
And that (what no one) can deny me
I’m staring in the lake
deep into the darken wood
Hoping that it’s not a fake
Hope I’ll see you soon
Rising slowly from the water
Brighter than the finest pearl
Now I need you even more
Like a flower needs the rain
First a whisper then a shout
clouds surround my sight
Will I ever see you high?
Through dark and sunless sky
Dusk prevails and sunlight fails
Will the darkness set me free?
Lost and waiting for the dawn
Fell asleep under a tree
